Our fleet consists of all-tourist buses of later models. From 16 seats to 75 seats.
Some models are conference furnished as there are tables for group seating and some technical equipment to be able to display powerpoint etc.
As far as safety is concerned, all vehicles are equipped with seat belts in all places as well as alco-locks.
We have Wi-Fi on board as standard and charging sockets with 220 volts at many seats for PC and phone/tablet.
All employed drivers hold a valid driving licence. All bus drivers have a Professional Certificate according to the Council Regulation: EEC 3820/85 Art.5.2b, which means that the driver meets the requirements for driving the vehicle more than 50 km outside the place of station.
Our driver staff are organised in the Transport Workers Union and the Municipal Workers Union. Work placement is carried out in accordance with EU regulations concerning driving and rest periods. Interbus operates a strict alcohol and drug policy.
Flexibility is our specialty. To reroute buses at short notice we are very used to. As previously described, we are often contacted when the flight or train has disruptions. Diverting buses due to time changes or traffic problems is “commonplace” for us. Our organization in Stockholm consists of business management, administrative department, sales department and traffic management. In addition, we have our own workshop and laundry facility.
All buses within Interbus are powered by fossil-free fuel — HVO, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. The fuel, which is more expensive than regular diesel, is a synthetic diesel produced mainly from organic waste. The uniqueness is that it does not contain any fossil ingredients. The HVO sold in Sweden is produced from several different raw materials, which means that the reduction in climate impact compared to fossil diesel can be as much as 90%. Another advantage of the HVO is that it has cleaner exhaust than regular diesel.

Stockholm Saltsjön started Stockholm Tourist Buses when Stockholm County Council took over Björnästrafiken.
Became the company Tor Line owner of Interbus. Stockholm Salt Lake at Salén shipping companies (owner of Tor Line).
Stockholm-Saltsjön/Nord Pool became the new owner of Interbus — in the same vein Salén shipping companies went bankrupt, the former owner of Tor Line.
Stockholm Tourist Buses, Centrala Bussbe, Stockholms Disabled Transport and also Arlanda Bus were acquired by the constellation Nord Pool/Interbus AB in the late 90's”.
Swebus acquires Postens Diligenstrafik and Malmfältens Omnibus AB. Wasatrafik and thus also Interbus was acquired in 1992.
Swebus AB, which subsequently changed its name to Nobina Sweden AB where Interbus was part of a major merger of bus companies in Sweden's largest bus company by far. Interbus and Wasatrafik were bought from the Stockholm-Saltsjön/Nord Pool group and merged.
